Bonnier Books UK has won in the Inclusivity in Publishing category of the LBF International Excellence Awards 2023 – recognised for its inclusion and representation initiatives over the last year.
The judges noted that Bonnier Books UK had “embedded inclusivity in their values and genuinely invested in making an impact across their organisation”.
The panel also commended the company’s focus on “improving access to those from lower socio-economic backgrounds to the sector, their efforts to remove financial barriers for those starting out and to increasing equity in family policies”.
The award was presented by London Book Fair Director Gareth Rapley to our CEO Perminder Mann at our bustling stand. It is the second time in recent years that Bonnier Books UK has won the prize – following its first win in 2020.
The award follows hot on the heels of the company’s win at the Independent Publishing Awards earlier this month in the Alison Morrison Diversity and Inclusivity category.
