Bonnier Books UK has welcomed two new publicists to the Adult Trade Publicity team and has promoted three members of the team across its Publicity and Marketing departments for its Adult Trade division, led respectively by Lucy Richardson, Publicity Director, and Natalia Cacciatore, Deputy Marketing Director.
Arabella Watkiss joined the team in January as Senior Press Officer from Faber Books, where she held positions as Publicity Assistant and Publicity Executive. She has worked on campaigns across a range of literary and commercial fiction and non-fiction titles including Enchantment by Katherine May, Comfort Eating by Grace Dent, and Crunch by Natalie Whittle. She also managed the publicity for the Faber Editions series and heritage titles.
Hope Ndaba joined the team on 10th February as Senior Publicity Manager, having previously worked at FMcM as Communications Manager. She delivered publicity campaigns for a range of titles from Dialogue Books, a division of Hachette; and ran marketing campaigns for clients such as Thomas Heatherwick, prizes such as the Sunday Times Young Writer of the Year Award and managing FMcM’s brand identity. Prior to this, Hope worked in both marketing and publicity at Picador Books, launching debuts such as Julia May Jonas’s Vladimir and Maddie Mortimer’s Booker-longlisted Maps of Our Spectacular Bodies. Outside of her day-to-day, she serves on the And Other Stories board of trustees, and recently participated on a panel for the PEN Translates Award.
Both Watkiss and Ndaba will report into Clare Kelly, Head of Publicity – Adult.
In the Publicity team, Eleanor Stammeijer has been promoted to Head of Publicity. Eleanor has delivered stand-out campaigns during her time at BBUK, including Susie Dent’s Guilty By Definition, Stacey Halls’ The Household and TM Logan’s The Dream Home. She is also the publicity lead for Zaffre’s SFF list, scoping out new authors and building publicity strategy. In her new role, Eleanor will have greater oversight over the publicity strategy for non-fiction, with a particular focus on LEAP, the new lifestyle and wellbeing imprint headed up by Carole Tonkinson.
Florence Philip is promoted from Publicity Assistant to Press Officer. Whilst balancing a busy workload as Assistant, Florence has independently led her own publicity campaigns and has been an integral part of the publicity campaigns for Sir Graham Brady’s Kingmaker and Lottie Tomlinson’s Lucky Girl.
In the marketing team, Holly Milnes is promoted from Marketing Executive to Senior Marketing Executive. Holly has worked on some of BBUK’s biggest fiction brand campaigns including TM Logan, Lynda La Plante and Rosie Goodwin. Her BMS award-winning creative and strategic campaign for The Gavin & Stacey Quiz Book resulted in multiple weeks in the Sunday Times bestseller charts for the title in 2024.
