Bonnier Books UK CEO Perminder Mann has been featured in a landmark history celebrating leadership in Britain and beyond over the last three centuries.
Mann’s contributions to the publishing industry and efforts as a staunch advocate for inclusivity and collaboration in the workplace are recognized in the publication of 300 Years of Leadership and Innovation, produced in partnership by publisher St James’s House and the History of Parliament Trust.
The beautifully designed and fully illustrated hardback book, authored by an editorial team of distinguished academics and award-winning writers, launched at an event at Westminster Abbey on 22nd September 2021.
Mann said: “It’s an honour to be recognised by the History of Parliament Trust and featured in this wonderful book. There’s no one form of leadership, and this book is both testimony to the many forms it can and has taken over the last 300 years, and inspiration as we rise to meet the hopes and challenges of tomorrow. I’m a firm believer in learning from the lessons of our past, and hope that the journeys contained within can encourage and embolden the trailblazing young leaders of the future, and help us all plot a path to better times ahead.”
The book celebrates leadership across the full spectrum of British society: from parliament and crown to captains of industry and those pushing the boundaries of innovation. Mann’s entry sits alongside those who have shaped Britain, past and present, from Cromwell to the Queen, Churchill to Blair.
Its publication marks the 300th anniversary of the appointment of Britain’s first prime minister, Robert Walpole, in 1721, and arrives in the year of Her Majesty The Queen’s 95th birthday.
