Piccadilly Press, an imprint of Bonnier Books UK, is delighted to acquire Astrosaurs: Mission to Infinity, a graphic-novel adaptation of the bestselling Astrosaurs series created by Steve Cole, who has teamed up with his son Tobey Cole and illustrator Alex Lopez to reimagine the original stories with a brand-new look for a new generation of readers.
The original series was first published in 2005, and has sold over 2 million copies worldwide and been a UK top-ten children’s bestseller, with readers old and new coming back for more even twenty years on.
Ella Whiddett, commissioning editor at Piccadilly Press, acquired World All Language rights for Astrosaurs: Mission to Infinity from Philippa Milnes-Smith at The Soho Agency and Imogen Holmes at Astound.
Young stegosaurus Teggs is the new captain of the DSS Sauropod, a spaceship designed to defend the Jurassic Quadrant from evil carnivorous dinosaurs looking for their next meal. From powerful pongs to egg-cellent explosions, missions never quite go to plan, but the Astrosaurs are always there to save the day!

Steve Cole is the best-selling author of over 200 books. His works include the Astrosaurs series, original fiction titles for Doctor Who, the Young Bondseries and Swarm Rising, co-authored with astronaut Tim Peake. Steve lives and works in Buckinghamshire.
Tobey Cole graduated from the MetFilm School in Ealing with a degree in filmmaking. He is a freelance author and screenwriter currently based in London.
Alex Lopez started drawing when he was a child and now has over fifteen years’ experience as a professional illustrator. His books have been published around the globe and he has also created illustrations for educational books, marketing and video games. Alex is based in Sabadell, Spain.
Astrosaurs: Mission to Infinity will be publishing in paperback in September 2025.
