John Blake, a non-fiction imprint of Bonnier Books UK, has acquired Katie Price’s ‘honest and reflective’ new memoir, This Is Me: The High Life. The Dark Times. The Full Story.
Ciara Lloyd, Publishing Director for Blink and John Blake, acquired world English language rights from agent Dom Smales at Glo Project.
Celebrating twenty years since her bestselling debut autobiography, Being Jordan, and a stellar thirty-year career, This is Me is Katie Price as you’ve never heard her before – raw and explosive, Katie will explore the incredible highs and devastating lows of her life and turbulent career, as well as the journey she’s been on to get to where she is today.
And for the first time ever in her publishing history, the audiobook of This is Me will be read by Katie Price.
Ciara Lloyd said: ‘John Blake launched Katie’s publishing career with Being Jordan in 2004, which sold over 400,000 copies in hardback alone, so I’m thrilled to welcome Katie back home in the year that she’s also celebrating 30 years in the industry.
Katie has had her fair share of ups and downs, and is so often misunderstood, so I can’t wait to publish her incredible book that shines a light on the real person behind the headlines. You won’t want to miss this.’
Katie Price said: ‘I am so thrilled to be working with John Blake again on what I don’t doubt, will be the most intimate portrayal of my life to date.’
This Is Me will be published in hardback, and eBook in July 2024, with the paperback following in Summer 2025.
