Andrew Sauerwine joined Bonnier Books UK in 2023 as Group Sales and Strategy Director, responsible for scaling the business and spearheading the wider global trade sales strategy over the company’s next phase of growth.
Over the course of a twenty-year career in the publishing industry, he has worked with a host of leading global brands and authors. He helped bring the likes of William Boyd, Khaled Hosseini and the Harry Potter novels to UK audiences during his time at Bloomsbury; oversaw the sales team that sold in the Fifty Shades of Grey phenomenon while at Penguin Random House; and was Sales Director and divisional board member at Kings Road Publishing. Prior to returning to BBUK, Andrew ran his own successful commercial publishing consultancy.
Away from the thrust of the quarterly sales presentations, Andrew enjoys watching (and reading) Horrible Histories with his tribe of children, celebrating QPR’s bi-annual win, and cooking a variety of culinary delights for family and friends in his outdoor kitchen in the Chilterns.
